The Roboflow Deployment Manager now includes a Camera Discovery feature to automatically locate Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) cameras connected to the same local network as your edge device. Users can scan the network, verify hardware model numbers and IP details, and attach video streams directly to vision pipelines without manual networking configuration.
This update makes it easier for you to remotely configure and manage camera inputs directly from the Deployment Manager interface. It is designed to support edge deployments in industrial and manufacturing environments where physical access to hardware is limited.
