# Annotate Segmentation Masks with a Brush

You can now annotate images in an Instance Segmentation project using the Brush Tool. This tool allows you to paint annotations with an adjustable brush.

To use the brush tool, press "U" on your keyboard in the Roboflow Annotate interface, or select the paint brush icon from the right side panel. You can then click and hold your cursor down to paint a region in an image.
