# Datasource Credentials

Use Datasource credentials when you want Roboflow to continuously mirror data from cloud storage into your Workspace, Project, or Folder.

{% hint style="info" %}
If your data lives in cloud storage such as AWS S3, GCS or Azure, use [Datasources](/datasets/adding-data/datasources.md) and Bucket Mirror as the default ingestion path. Signed URL uploads and local download workflows are for one-time or ad hoc imports.
{% endhint %}

This section covers the reusable credentials you save in Workspace settings under [Credentials](https://app.roboflow.com/settings/thirdpartykeys). These credentials are used by Datasources, not by local scripts running on your machine.

AWS S3 and [S3-compatible storage](/datasets/adding-data/datasources.md#s3-compatible-storage) are supported today.
