Shear Augmentation

Randomly shear images along their horizontal or vertical axis to add perspective variability.

Randomly distort an image across its horizontal or vertical axis. This adds variability to perspective to help your model be more resilient to camera and subject pitch and yaw.

• Horizontal: The maximum angle, in degrees, an image will be randomly sheared across its x-axis.

• Vertical: The maximum angle, in degrees, an image will be randomly sheared across its y-axis.
