# Dedicated Deployments: Run a startup script before inference starts

You can now attach a Bash startup script to a Dedicated Deployment. It runs each time a container starts, before inference begins, so you can install pip or apt packages or download files your Workflows need. Add the script when you create the deployment or later in its settings, and check its output under View Logs.
