Apply for Academic Credits

We offer two tiers of research credits for students and researchers in academia.

These tiers are available for anyone with an academic email address and who is using Roboflow for non-commercial work related to research or academia.

By applying for an academic plan, all data in the workspace where you make your application will be made public on Roboflow Universe.

Academic Plans

The following plans are available for students and researchers:

Training Credits	Images
+10k source images	+90k source images
+50k generated images	+450k generated images
+22 training credits	+5 training credits

The Training Credits plan is ideal if you are training models, whereas the Images plan is ideal if you are annotating or managing large datasets.

All plans also include:

• 15 team members

• 50 credits per month

• Enhanced image augmentations

• Model weights download

Apply for Academic Credits

To apply for academic credits, go to Settings, then click "Plan & Billing":

Scroll down to the bottom of the billing page to the "Using Roboflow for research or education?" option, then click "Request Access":

A window will then appear from which you can choose your plan, and confirm you want to upgrade your Workspace.

Roboflow in the Classroom

Students and teachers using Roboflow in the classroom are encouraged to contact us for help developing course materials or ensuring account access meets the needs of your class. Hobbyists working on projects can earn additional image and training credits by sharing work in blog posts, videos, forum discussions, and more.
